1. One should carry his/her artist card with him/her when he/she is shooting for any TV or movie in Mumbai or any other location in India. This artist card is been issued by an association approved by Government of India. These organizations issuing artist cards are operated under the Trade Union Act 1926 (INDIAN TRADE UNION ACT 1926) of the Government of India / State Government.
2. An artist shoots and in return gets his Pay. Producers pay their actors after shooting. But sometimes unfortunately the producer refuses to pay his artist, Deducts by not paying the fixed amount, refuses to pay your wages, closes his office and switches off the phone number and disappears, then in such a situation the artist should complain to that producer in the association. Film City Cine TV Artists and Workers Association will get you your money by taking all legal action to recover the reasonable remuneration payment of its registered member from that producer.
Sometimes they even punish such producers.
Apart from these reasons, a registered member who has an artist card, you get a chance to go to events organized by your association, such as workshops, festivals, entertainment shows, award functions, award shows, meeting or farewell ceremony with a big personality, etc. You get to learn a lot.
1. Always be punctual at work.
2. Update your personal information (i.e. contact/email/address) with Best Cine TV Artist Union.
3. Update Association of any setbacks like irregular working hours/unhygienic conditions.
4. Maintain a written conversation with Producer in the form of messages/whatsapp/email w.r.t remuneration, block dates, call time etc.
5. Maintain Filmcity Cine T.V Artist & Workers Sangh diary, regularly.
